I found this volume--nine in the series--more enjoyable than the last few books. The low-level magic practitioners of Chicago are being targeted by a serial killer who is very good at covering his (or her?) tracks. Harry Dresden tries to save the potential victims and find the killer, all while being hampered by the usual roadblocks he tends to encounter. You may want to check it out.
